A native of West Texas, she was educated in Fine Arts @ Western Texas College in Snyder Texas.  It was there she discovered her love for pottery, but she has been an artist since age 3. Laura specializes in pottery, both on the wheel and hand building.  She now makes custom orders to fit individual needs.  In addition to being a potter, she is a caricaturist, face painter, window painter, and muralist. She participates in art shows, events, and festivals all across Texas.

She is currently enrolling classes in drawing,watercolor, painting,pottery and mosaic for ages 4 and up. Her classes are held Tuesday and Thursday...from 12 noon to 7PM

   Jennifer Park, a native of Southeast Texas is currently living in Round Rock. She was educated in fine     arts at Stephen F. Austin State University and received her BFA in painting in 2002.

She is currently working on a Master's Degree in Museum Studies from the University of Oklahoma. She has taught middle school art for 4 years in the public school system, and has sold her artwork in several galleries in Texas.

Hi, my name is Ms. Joey Roberts and I am teaching at the R.R.A.C. My background consists of all media: drawing, painting, ceramics, collage, sculpture and printmaking.

I hold a Texas Art education certification. I graduated from TX State University; magna cum laude with a B.F.A. as well as my latest addition, M.Ed. in Elementary education with a specialization in G.T. and educational technology.

I love children and love to teach. My former position held was the full-time Art teacher at Children’s’ Center of Austin.

Teaching at the Round Rock Art Cooperative

My approach to teaching art is an"individual based" lesson, depending on the student's interests and abilities.  Instead of having a curriculum that I use over and over, the student and I decide what they want ot draw or paint, a concept that  changes over time.  I encourage them to bring in reference material, to save time(but I have lots to choose from as well).   In each lesson, I educate the student on terms and techniques that I have learned and taught over the years.

I went to San Antonio Junior College and studied in a Puebla, Mexico enchange program. I then continued on and graduated with a Studio Arts Degree in drawing amd painting, from the University of Texas, in Austin.  After working as a ring designer and other vaired art jobs, I taught preschool and private art lessons for many years.

I was recently teaching at the Art Center at Dragonfly Pond, with young children.  I was an instructor for the Young Rembrandt Drawing program  in the Pflugerville schools.  My own art is shown in Georgetown, Texas at various venues with the Williamson County Arts Guild.  My favorite subjects to draw or paint are animals or nature related themes, both realistic and surreal.

Thank you for the opportunity of teaching your child a lifelong skill that will help in many ways to make them well rounded, enhancing their life, as well as having fun.

Hi there! My name is Danielle Russo and I am excited to be joining the team at Round Rock Art Cooperative! 

I am a graduate from Texas State University with a Bachelor's of Fine Arts in Drawing. Throughout school I decided to concetrate deeply on drawing, painting, traditional photography, and art history.  I volunteer at Dell Children's hospital monthly to bring art to kids through the Austin Museum of Art. AMOA has allowed me on many levels to work with kids and families while reaching out to the community through art. 

Growing up my passion for art and dance exceeded most other interests. Working with people to share my passion has always been a love of mine. I am very excited to aid in the use of art as an expression and see what all can be created!
